As you might have noticed, I haven't updated my journal since November 2006.
Last picture is uploaded in October 2006. Thats about one and a half year.
This entry serves the purpose of showing that I haven't left deviantArt. In fact, I check it on regular basis.
I have practiced a bit in the time passed, but I could not complete anything I thought was worth showing and kept on practicing, until I finally stopped. I think last time I actually draw something picture-like, though not finished, was in autumn. The annoying thing is, my sense of self-critique and requirements for myself have risen with the growth of knowledge- risen faster than my actual drawing skills.
The reason I'm writing this is, I started playing with my pencils again a little and this time I'll try to finish something.
I can't tell you the exact time- if I continue being lazy, maybe still months, maybe less. Depends on how much time I have and what quality do I desire. Actually, about the last, I figured, I should just draw and see what comes out, because something is better than nothing.
Another reason to write this is not to show the ancient entry on the first page. I find that It's a bit outdated by now.
So,I hope to update soon.

While browsing through the AA forums I found your deviantART and took a look at it...
I must say I like your technique with shading, but in the future, you might want to try some light color.

If you would like some friendly critique, then read this, otherwise ignore it.
I just had a quick look through your pictures, they're looking nice
You have a good pencilling technique, not afraid to use alot of contrast, which is good. The backgrounds and stuff are looking pretty sweet too! That's something I need to practice on xD
What I would suppose you could need to improve are your characters' dynamics, but I'd say you're well on your way - just keep drawing and you'll keep improving!
One thing I would suggest for you, is to look at some reference pictures (real people) and practice drawing necks.
I hope this was helpful, I'm lookin forward to seeing moar! ;D
